Our mission

Aim and Vison

The primary objective of the National Child Rights Council is to ensure the protection, promotion, and realization of the rights of every child in line with the Constitution of Nepal, the Children’s Act, 2075 (2018), and international legal instruments such as the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The Council is committed to creating a safe, just, and enabling environment for all children through strengthening child protection systems at the federal, provincial, and local levels; coordinating the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of child-related policies; arranging for the rescue, rehabilitation, and reintegration of children at risk; and enhancing institutional capacity through training, awareness, and advocacy. By placing the best interests of the child at the center, the Council works in close collaboration with various government bodies, local governments, civil society organizations, and international partners.
